1Research:This project involed lots of context based research. I had to know exactly who this designer was and what inform’s their work and process. Research started off with a 7 page paper that aims to understand and provide context into Na Kim as a designer and her body of work. From there I answered many questions on a miro board to help me emulate her values, work, and process. Some questions include where is this designer located, what informs their work, where did they study, and when did they start designing to name a few

2Design:I used a grid reminiscent to Na Kim’s SET book format.  This allowed me the opportunity to expand and play outside of the grid with text and image, while staying true to the grid’s rules.
